Hi, we are Nenad & Daisy. Welcome to Working Wayfarers
We help people learn about the digital nomad lifestyle and travel the world. Whether that means that you’re interested in becoming a digital nomad, or are just curious to see what all these people taking pictures on Instagram from around the world do, we’re here to make sense of it all.
Perhaps you’d like to find out how to have some more time for yourself or make some extra money. We will be discussing everything from what to pack on your round the world trip (RTW), tactical posts about HOW to earn a living, entrepreneurship, having the proper mindset and we will throw in some amazing pictures and fun travel stories.
We have divided the blog into two sections, Working & Wayfaring.
In Working, you’ll find all the nitty gritty. Here we will go over all of the things that we are currently working on and HOW we were able to setup our current lifestyle.
We’ll cover all the things that nobody else talks about. Starting from the moment that we realised that we wanted a different lifestyle, to all the uncomfortable conversations with family, friends, co-workers and bosses. Then eventually taking the leap and just going for it! We’ll write about the challenges of living abroad, taking the path less traveled and unplugging from the system.
You’ll read HOW we were able to do all this and how you can too if that is your goal. We will be as transparent as possible regarding the work we’re currently doing, the monthly income and the monthly cost of living. We will be vulnerable and tell you our hopes and fears. This is the stuff that you were really looking for. If it’s ever too much, then take a look at the Wayfaring section and realise that we’re living life to the fullest, and we hope to inspire you to do the same.
In Wayfaring page, you’ll find all the fun, inspirational things that make travel and this lifestyle so appealing. This page is all about travel, awesome pics/videos, insane travel stories and everything in between! Between us, we’ve visited over 50 countries and have spent extended periods (>1 month) of time in about 10 of them. We are really passionate about not only seeing a place, but experiencing everything that is has to offer, i.e. the people, food, history, language architecture and ultimately, the culture. We offer up our top suggestions, tips, travel itineraries and more on the Wayfaring page.
The goal is to show you how rewarding it is to travel, to truly expand your worldview and open up your mind to some incredible possibilities. Our hope is to inspire you to go somewhere new, get out of your comfort zone and experience something extraordinary. For all the nitty gritty, behind the scenes work involved in setting up this lifestyle (topics include, saving, income generation, cost of living, working remotely, etc.), please check out the “Working” side of Working Wayfarers.
